Nimonic 90 Wire, 0.787–0.991 mm – 356 kg Delivery
On July 1, NC Alloys completed the delivery of 356 kg of Nimonic 90 wire. The order included three precision wire diameters: 0.787 mm, 0.889 mm and 0....
NC Alloys April 30 successfully supplied a batch of Rene 41 bright round bars with a total weight of 252.8 kg. The bars were produced in a diameter of 40 mm and supplied in random lengths to provide flexibility for subsequent cutting, machining and component manufacturing.
This project demonstrates our ability to supply high-performance nickel alloy round bars in customized dimensions and quantities for demanding high-temperature applications.
The products supplied in this project were 40 mm diameter Rene 41 bright round bars. The bright surface finish provides a clean and uniform appearance while making the material suitable for visual inspection, dimensional checking and downstream precision machining.
Random-length supply allows customers to cut the bars according to their individual component sizes, helping improve material utilization for small-batch production and customized manufacturing projects.

Rene 41, also identified as UNS N07041, is a precipitation-hardenable nickel-based superalloy containing chromium, cobalt, molybdenum, titanium and aluminum. This carefully balanced alloying system provides high mechanical strength and reliable performance at elevated temperatures.
Rene 41 also offers good oxidation resistance in high-temperature environments. These properties make it a suitable material for components exposed to a combination of heat, mechanical stress and demanding operating conditions.
The following table shows the actual chemical composition recorded for the Rene 41 material supplied in this project. All values are percentages by weight, with nickel as the balance.
| Chemical Element | Symbol | Actual Composition (%) |
|---|---|---|
| Carbon | C | 0.08 |
| Silicon | Si | 0.0158 |
| Manganese | Mn | 0.30 |
| Sulfur | S | 0.0023 |
| Phosphorus | P | 0.00357 |
| Copper | Cu | 0.0133 |
| Chromium | Cr | 19.0 |
| Nickel | Ni | Balance |
| Titanium | Ti | 3.21 |
| Iron | Fe | 3.0 |
| Cobalt | Co | 11.0 |
| Aluminum | Al | 1.73 |
| Molybdenum | Mo | 9.5 |
The chromium content contributes to oxidation resistance, while cobalt and molybdenum support strength and stability at elevated temperatures. Titanium and aluminum are important strengthening elements in the precipitation-hardening response of Rene 41.
Rene 41 round bars are commonly considered for high-temperature aerospace and industrial components. Typical applications may include turbine components, nozzle partitions, combustion-chamber parts, high-temperature fasteners, structural hardware and other components requiring strength under elevated-temperature service conditions.
The final material condition, heat treatment, dimensions and technical requirements should always be selected according to the component design and applicable customer specification.
For this project, NC Alloys supplied 252.8 kg of Rene 41 bright round bars in a diameter of 40 mm and random lengths. We can also support customized diameters, fixed-length cutting, machining allowances, surface conditions and order quantities according to customer requirements.
If you are looking for Rene 41 bright round bar for aerospace, power-generation or other high-temperature applications, please send us your required diameter, length, quantity and delivery condition. Contact NC Alloys for product availability, pricing and lead-time information.
